Continuing this approach, perfumer Amandine Clerc-Marie met Alexis Rosenfeld, founder of ocean exploration project 1Ocean, in an enriching exchange. Project 1Ocean is an underwater exploration project founded by the photographer Alexis Rosenfeld with the UNESCO. Its mission is to explore and document the ocean to raise awareness about its biodiversity richness and preservation. The meeting of these two worlds led to the creation of this ocean-inspired fragrance. The iconic floral aquatic notes of L'Eau d'Issey are amplified by a Posidonia accord. Created especially for the scent, this blend is an ode to the underwater Posidonia meadows that act as the lungs of the sea. As if caressed by sunlight, these soft floral green notes are illuminated by radiant ylang-ylang at the perfume’s heart. As the fragrance dries down, warm vanilla dives deep into the scent’s base, immersing you in its sensual sillage. L’Eau d’Issey Eau de parfum intense is vegan and made with 91% natural origin ingredients. A perfume bottle inspired by the ocean For this intense new scent, the iconic L’Eau d’Issey perfume bottle is revisited with a design echoing the silvery reflections of the ocean. Infused in a deep silver hue, each 100% wooden cap is made from a single piece of wood, removing the need for plastic.
