Our nurses are trained to assess and offer treatment options for a variety of minor illnesses and acute conditions, including:
- Acute Asthma – Inhaler technique review, peak flow measurement, symptom assessment, and escalation advice.
- Diarrhoea – Hydration assessment, oral rehydration guidance, and treatment options to manage symptoms.
- Vaginal Thrush – Assessment of symptoms, confirmation of likely cause, and supply of appropriate antifungal treatment where suitable.
- Bacterial Conjunctivitis – Eye examination, hygiene advice, and access to antibiotic eye drops when clinically indicated.
- Eczema & Dermatitis – Skin assessment, identification of triggers, and recommendations for topical treatments and skincare routines.
- Impetigo – Lesion assessment and supply of antibiotic ointment if required and appropriate.
- Nausea, Vomiting & Vertigo – Evaluation of underlying cause and access to suitable anti-nausea medicines (eligibility dependent).
- Constipation – Symptom assessment and personalised advice on laxatives, hydration, diet, and lifestyle management.
