The key ingredients behind our gentle exfoliating line are Salicylic Acid (BHA); Mandelic Acid (AHA) and Gluconolactone (PHA). This gentle trio of acids chemically exfoliate skin. What this means is that they exfoliate by dissolving dead skin cells and loosening the bonds between the top surface layers to help lift away dead skin cells; rather than through physical abrasion; which can be too harsh on sensitive skin.
