Acute Uncomplicated Oral Thrush for children (Under 14 years)
Oral thrush is an infection in the mouth usually caused by the fungus (yeast) Candida albicans.
Our pharmacists can assess symptoms and, if required, prescribe the medication to help manage the infection quickly, as well as guidance on when to seek further medical care.
Under the Government's Extended Pharmacy Services (EPS) programme, eligible children under 14 years of age can access subsidised consultations and medicines. Our pharmacy team can provide further information about eligibility when you enquire about the service.
