Solgar L-Tyrosine contains the amino acid tyrosine. Amino acids are found in protein and support several functions within the body. They are classified as “essential” or “non-essential”. Amino acids support normal production and function of hormones; enzymes; neurotransmitters; antibodies; and nutrient carriers. Tyrosine is a non-essential amino acid and can be found in dairy products; meats; fish; eggs; nuts; beans; oats and wheat.
