Rejuvenail (ciclopirox 8% w/w) Anti-Fungal Nail Lacquer Solution. Pharmacy Only Medicine. For the treatment of fungal nail infections (onychomycoses caused by dermatophytes yeasts and moulds). Precautions – not for ophthalmic oral or intravaginal use. Known to be an eye irritant. Not recommended for use in pregnancy and breastfeeding. Contraindications – do not use where hypersensitivity to ciclopirox or any other ingredients in the lacquer exist. Do not use in children or adolescents under 18. Not to be swallowed. Adverse effects – Where solution has come into contact with skin adjacent to nail light reddening or scaling has been observed.

Description

The active ingredient ciclopirox penetrates the nail to reach the site of fungal infection and prevents growth of the fungal infection by destroying the fungi that cause nail infections.

Administration & dosage – Apply a thin layer once a day on affected nails after washing & drying leave to dry for 30 seconds. Leave on for 6 hours washes off in water. For best results Rejuvenail should be used every day for at least 6 to 12 months. Flammable liquid. Keep out of reach of children and away from heat and sources of ignition.
