Frequently Asked Questions

How do I apply?

It's easy! First, visit our search for a job page, apply for a specific job or click the Apply Now link on the main Job Search page. Then, follow the directions on your screen.


What if I don't have a formal CV to enter into the form?

It's best to write one or have one done for you, but you can certainly apply without one. Where a CV is requested, simply enter a brief description of your background, experience (with dates of employment), educational achievements, and skills. This information is necessary to evaluate candidates. Applications without this information cannot be considered.


Wait! I don't want to ask about jobs. I have a question about my www.LifePharmacy.co.nz order. What do I do?

At the top of the LifePharmacy.co.nz pages is a Help link. Click on it and you can email sales@lifepharmacy.co.nz to check the status of your order online, as well as contact information for Customer Service.


I wanted to apply for a position that I saw here, but now it's not listed. May I still apply?

We regularly post new positions and remove positions that are no longer open or have been filled. It's ideal when you can apply for a specific position; it makes our process of reviewing applicants easier. However, you may apply without indicating a specific open position.

I submitted my CV but haven't heard from Life Pharmacy yet. What's the status of my application?

We acknowledge all applicants, so if you have not heard from us then something could have gone wrong and we suggest applying again. We search our CV database regularly and then contact the people we'd like to learn more about and we keep all CV's on file for several months.


What is your interview process?

It depends. For most positions, we begin the process with a phone interview. If there's interest on both sides, we invite people in for an on-site interview, typically with the hiring manager and several teammates.

How should I dress for the interview?

Life Pharmacy has a smart work environment. Our stores focus on providing a professional well being service and we represent the premium beauty brands; therefore a very high standard of dress is required.


How long do you take to make a decision?

Once we've finished interviewing all of the selected candidates and completed reference and background checks, we try to make a final decision within a few business days.


Do you offer benefits?

Absolutely! Please go to our Benefits area of the Careers homepage to see a few of them.


Will you help me with relocation?

When we interview out-of-town candidates, we usually expect potential staff to pay for their own relocation depending upon the level and type of position. Details of any relocation offering can be requested at the time of the interview.


I need a work permit to work in New Zealand. Will you sponsor me?

We can offer assistance to eligible workers seeking a New Zealand work visa. Each case is reviewed individually.

I work for an employment agency, temporary staffing firm, or consulting business. How can I present applicants to you?

We do not have a general CV submittal process for agencies not on our preferred list.
