Oils & Omega 3
Omega fatty acids are essential for our health. They come in two main forms; omega-3 and omega-6. It's the long-chain omega-3 acids, docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and eicosapentanoic acid (EPA) that are known to play a vital role in brain development and function. DHA and EPA are involved in every biological process in the body, but since our bodies can't make them, they must be derived from our diet (cold water oily fish has omega-3 or plants such as flaxseed, walnuts canola/ soybeans) and supplementation.
